New Google Plus Notification Style
I am seeing this new Google Plus notification style from the drop down red box.
It is clear that they are trying to remove clutter from the notifications and add some context to each of them. The result is more notifications appearing on screen.
The trade off is that I can no longer quickly hover over a persons image/name to display information which may lead to me following them back. I am interested if this will cool the circle back process or encourage people to curate them more.
What do you think of the new notification style?
